Christmas in February?

This poinsettia is still holding up two months after Christmas. The other 3 that I got at the same time are still alive, but don't look nearly as happy as this one. It didn't receive any special treatment. I don't know, maybe it's the basket!

I actually picked them up at my work when they were taking holiday decorations down, so they were already sitting there for a month or so.

If you plant them in your yard, they will survive and grow pretty tall. My mom had one I gave her years ago and it's tall than me now.

Wow, taller than you?! That's pretty tall.
I've seen them planted like that in Australia, but I figured they could only survive in a mild climate like it is there. I didn't think they could go through a TX summer.
