It has been a busy week around here. I had activities every evening after work.
Much of it is due to the upcoming concerts on the 6th and 10th. I had rehearsals on Sun, Tue, Thr, Sat, and the concert is on Sunday. These weekday rehearsals are tiring, because I go there right after work, it takes me almost an hour to go across town down to St. Edward's University during rush hour, and then we don't finish until after 9PM. That's a long day for me.
On Monday evening mom and I went for a walk in the Domain and some shopping, which was a relaxing time.
On Wednesday, we went to Zumba in our MUD recreation center. I definitely need some physical activity in my daily routine, but I am just not that excited about this thing right after work. I am not determined.
On Friday evening I hope to go purchase the tree for the front yard. Mexican White Oak. Still not sure if and which tree to get for the backyard. I just didn't set aside the time to think about it more. Maybe on Saturday.
I think that since mom is leaving in less than two weeks, I may be now trying to jam too many things to do with her. I thought having this concert while she is here would be a good thing, so she can come. But, it being right at the end of her stay, when we have extra rehearsals, is cutting too much into our time together.
